Context : As both a technology provider and catalyst and adsorbent manufacturer specialized in purifying hydrogen, Axens provides a comprehensive range of solutions that can be tailored to customers’ needs (fuel cells, gas networks, hydrogen transport (LOHC),…). Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers for a wide range of advanced technologies including hydrogen purification and drying. We are looking for one intern for the POP Process Department to work on the engineering of hydrogen Purification and Drying Units (PDU), in the frame of the current development, optimization and standardization effort. Tasks and activities: • Simulation of PDUs using chemical engineering software, starting from the bases defined by specialists in the field, • Sizing of equipment and piping, • Specification of instruments, • Responsible for optimization studies and process developments, • Upon request, development of short-cut tools, • Upon request, involvement in modular unit studies. Profil : Currently in your last year of engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering you are looking for a six-month internship. Ideally, you have knowledge in chemical engineering software (ProII, Hysys...). A good level of written and spoken English is mandatory. A perfect knowledge of MS Excel is also required. Ideally, you are experienced in developing Macros and VBA programming in Excel. Required skills: rigor, confidentiality, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, proactivity, adaptability.
