CONTEXT : Within Purchasing department in Rueil-Malmaison Headquarter, and reporting to Purchasing Team Manager, as Global Lead Buyer Works Markets you will be in charge of global purchasing for - Manufacturing, subcontracting services, assembly on yard, mainly for sale/production of furnaces, modular units and industrial investments. - Constructions services, in collaboration with operationnals and technical teams. In accordance with Axens Purchasing Policy and defined rules, your mission will consist in taking care of Works contracts category management and optimization. You will carry out equipment and services purchasing, more particularly within the framework of projects, in collaboration with the Global Business Division and others Business Partners (BP). You will also contribute to methods, tools and procedures implementation to ensure Purchasing Function development into the Group. MISSIONS: Your missions will be as follows: Lead purchasing commercial negotiations and design a sustainable purchasing strategy on this portfolio, based on client needs and on business orientations. Contribute to the definition of the overall fabrication strategy. Provide sourcing, benchmarking and market studies (best practices, methods and market trends) to optimize portfolio performance. . Contribute to the selection of fabrication and subcontracting vendors. Provide input from the proposal phase to the reflexions and decision of project execution scheme. Interact with other Lead buyers. Ensure purchasing coordination with the subsidiaries (rituals, monthly meetings) Ensure purchasing process execution, from need definition to suppliers settlement, during sourcing phases/bid and inquiry/negotiation/contractualisation, together with Project Services. Interact in all projects subject related to your category in coordination with Project Lead Ensure alignment between major terms and conditions at proposal phase and execution phase together with Project services, Validate purchasing orders in SAP. Update purchasing data required for suppliers into Enterprise information system and ensure activities review / reporting to Project Purchasing Team Manager. Supplier relation management He/She coordinates suppliers strategic ranking swot analysis and contribute to the vendor selection process. Ensure sourcing optimisation and adjustment, especially during pre-qualification, qualification and audit in collaboration with Project Operations. Contribute to the update of the master vendor list and communicate this master vendor list to all subsidiaries. Negotiate best purchasing conditions on TCO approach to meet internal customer’s business requirement (cost, delivery, quality). Try to secure best conditions with key suppliers by a frame agreement if possible. Promote and share supplier’s innovation with stakeholders. Portfolio optimisation on cost, quality, services and delivery aspects Involve in claims treatment process, launch and manage correctives actions follow-up in the frame of continuous improvement. Improve quality products and services delivered in relation with the relevant department and in conformity with QHSE company system. Promoting and maintain relationship with the relevant services for all regarding knowledge, methods, market analysis share, best practices and lesson learn’s experiences Building skills on others category especially equipments (furnaces, modular units , proprietary equipments) and subcontracting KNOWLEGDE AND SKILLS REQUIRED You graduated with a Master degree in Purchasing. You have at least 5 to 7 years experiences in International Purchasing of industrial products or services. Autonomy and flexibility will be an asset for a full adaptation into VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) context. Some additional knowledge will be required (incoterms, tax, transport…). A significant legal background will be required especially to discuss contractual aspects with Legal department. English is key for this position. Your global vision on purchasing organisation and process would enable you to work into a multidisciplinary team efficiently. You have a good analytical, synthetical, rigour abilities and you have a good sense of listening, and you are a good communicator. Your team spirit is recognized. As a fine negotiator, you know how to measure and negotiate on your category on the combined aspects of value, security and competitiveness. This job requires frequent travels abroad
