Context : As part of the Process Team within the Low Carbon Solutions & Gas Business Division, The intern will be responsible for the improvement / development of simulation tools and procedures for Sulphur Recovery technologies. The overall objective of these tools and procedures is to save Process Engineers time during the design phases of project execution. Tasks and activities: The main activities of the internship are as follows: • Develop a pressure profile spreadsheet for the SRU simulation • Improve and adapt Equipment design spreadsheets for easiness of use and interfacing with simulation • Develop spreadsheets to verify heat and material balances and subcontractor results • Develop a user guide explaining the procedure for simulation and heat & material balances building This work will be carried out in collaboration with experience Process Engineers and SRU technologies specialists in Axens. Profil : • Currently in your last year of Process / Chemical Engineering School, you are looking for a 5 to 6 months internship, starting February / March 2024. • Must be fluent in English and able to use and produce technical documentation in English. • Able to work autonomously as well as in a team. • Proficient with MS Excel and a taste for process simulation, ideally proficient with ProII and Hysys.
